Zone V

Coastal area subject to significant wind forces that has at least a 1 percent annual chance of flooding due to storm surge and waves greater than 3 feet in height. V Zones are also known as Coastal High Hazard Areas. On Flood Insurance Rates Maps, the V Zone is broken down into three types: V, V#, and VE, which correspond to the A-Zone designations.
